Mums & Bubs Postpartum Support: 6 week course

We are so grateful for the mumma community’s continuing support at the Wilderness and are excited to announce our Mums and Bubs course will be a 6 week course with an added guest!!

Our postpartum support course has been carefully curated to celebrate new mothers and their baby’s as they gently reintegrate into society with their new identity, as a first time mother or as a mother to many. A place to come as you are and to be held in a supportive and nurturing environment, as you navigate the vulnerability of the early postpartum period. Led by our multi-passionate team of Registered midwives/Yoga teachers, this 6 week series is spent connecting, sharing stories and exploring movement designed specifically for the postpartum body.

Each course we welcome various industry professionals to speak about topics in their field. We ares so fortunate to continue to have Lani our incredible lactation consultant, discuss all areas of feeding (breast/bottle), and Hayley our fabulous physio (specialising in Womens Health) discuss postpartum pelvic floor health, and return to movement. This year we have the privilige of adding Emily to the team, Emily is a Mindfulness and Nervous System Coach and we feel she is exactly the piece we have been missing for our mamas. Emily supports people in regulating stress and feeling more grounded through evidence-based mindfulness, somatic practices and nervous-system tools. Her work blends warmth, clarity and practicality to help individuals thrive through all phases of life.

With community and connection at the absolute heart, we understand the nuances of caring for a new little human, and welcome all of the colours that come with it, on and off the mat. No previous yoga experience required.

The classes run for 2 hours 9:30-11:30 and are capped at 9 participants (18 if you include the babies!).
